The whole of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court works for the Organization of the Eastern Caribbean States. These include the independent states of the Commonwealth of Dominica, Antigua and Barbuda, Grenada, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and also Anguilla, British Virgin Islands and Montserrat which as the three British overseas territories.

It is richly endowed with mountainous rainforests where rare plants, animals and birds thrive. The Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevies is located in the Leeward Islands. It is the smallest sovereign nation in the Americas both in population and in area. In history, the British dependency of Anguilla was part of this union. Saint Kitts and Nevis are two of the first islands to be settled by Europeans.
Saint Lucia is the island on the boundary with the Atlantic Ocean. It was founded by Sir Arthur Sidders when he set sail from the Bristol, England port. The legal system on this island is based on British common law where the judiciary is independent and conducts fair public trials. It became a member of the Federation of the West Indies in 1958. The British Virgin Islands is located to the east of Puerto Rico. It is made up of Tortola, Virgin Gorda, Anegada and Jost Van Dyke.
